Help! importing clips from DVD
I tried the filename extension on the advice of another forum, and to a point it worked, at least Premiere was able to import the audio. I understand that I have to rip the .vob file, I've done that, its the conversion to .avi (?) mpeg2(?) thats the question. What do I use for that. DVD2AVI...- T07

But the DVD is MY OWN material, so its surely not against the law. How do I change the .vob format to one that premiere will read? I've tried changing the file extention to .mpg but only the audion file opens.- T07

How do you come to the conclusion he's after a SCSI CD burner when he clearly says DVD and doesn't mention SCSI???? I've got an HP 200i although I use it in an ADS external firewire box.
