    HP 540 colors run on Mitsubishi Diamondjet gloss

    My HP 540 prints OK on regular paper, but runs smeary on Mitsubishi gloss media. That HP model is out of production and warranty and HP techs want $25 to grant me an audience. What am I doing wrong?
