    God awfully slow Restoring Novell with BUExec 8.6

    I'm getting restore speeds of around 8M per min restoring Netware volumes from my 2000 BUExec server. I can backup these volumes at around 400M per min, but restoring is giving my a headache! And I won't even get into restoring the NDS tree, that's a whole other animal. Please help...

    IDR Problem!!!!

    This is because you backed it up remotely but are rying to restore it locally. You need to make sure that the computer recognizes the Admin share. To do this, install the MS Loopback Adapter. That go to Start->Run and type \\server name\ADMIN$ and see if it comes up. Then you're good to go.
