I have a workflow set on a list that sends out emails when a new item is created or modied. Everything works just fine when I have only individual's emails entered into the email workflow box. Those emails get sent. But if I try and choose a Group, the group does not receive the email. I...
Thanks, that worked for the results page. But what about on the header of what I assume is the master page? I can't figure out how to edit that porion of the page. Whenever I edit a page, that top header is not part of the edit mode. And there's a Search box and "Advanced Search" link there too.
I have figured out that the link is directed to a wrong path. It is trying to go here: http://proweb01:2222/_layouts/MyQuickLinks.aspx ... which is internal and should be trying to go here: http://portal.xxx-xxxx.com/_layouts/MyQuickLinks.aspx .... I have seen other people asking this same...
Is there a way to get rid of the Advanced Search link that is beside the Search box on the top of the page? And can this be done just for a certain site, and not the whole Sharepoint site?
Is it possible to change the Advanced Search page to only search/display results from "This Site" instead of all the sites? Users in one site should not be seeing results from all the sites.
Thanks.
Within this editor, I can't just paste my html code from a previous page? It displays the html code but doesn't interpret it as a web page. Also, when creating this basic page, it doesn't have any of the quick launch menus or anything.
I created a custom web page within Sharepoint. The client wants to be able to edit/manage the file themselves. It's kind of like a newsletter page, so some of the static info/data on the page will need to be updated once a month. What is the best way to go about letting them edit this page...
I am using Sharepoint MOSS 2007.
I am trying to get the My Links feature to work. I see the option on the top right menu of the page, but when I click "My Links" > "Add to My Links", I just get a popup window that is blank and/or it tells me that quicklinksdialog.aspx can not be found.
I am new to Sharepoint and am trying to figure out the best way to implement something within Sharepoint. I need to recreate a small Access database app inside of Sharepoint. From some reading I've done, it looks like Lists might accomplish this, but I'm not sure. I'm hoping somebody can...
No, the user could have the viewer.... the issue for me is that the client wants the dynamic dwf image embedded within the Sharepoint page and not on a separate page
It seems as though everybody is on the same page that a DWF can't/shouldn't be embedded, but to just let the Viewer take over.... then what is this guy talking about / trying to show?
http://dwf.blogs.com/beyond_the_paper/2006/05/how_do_i_embed_.html
Even if the client downloads and installs the DWF Viewer? The file still can't be embedded in the page? It will just open in another window using that viewer?
What about embedding the object into your html code, like flash does?
Something along these lines:
<OBJECT CLASSID="clsid:A662DA7E-CCB7-4743-B71A-D817F6D575DF"
CODEBASE=http://www.autodesk.com/global/dwfviewer/installer/
DwfViewerSetup.cab#version=7,0,0,928
WIDTH="640" HEIGHT="480">
<PARAM...
Oh, this hasn't been implemented yet. I was just meaning in general about the dialog box, and I guess I should have added Open to my list. I think that's what I'm getting at. Can Sharepoint get you away from having the client install a free viewer or something? or is there no way around...
What's the best way to go about displaying a DWF file within Sharepoint? The client wants to use the Document Library to store files and wants to view them within Sharepoint. They don't want to click on the file and have a dialog box popping up asking what to do with the file, ie Save...
I think I clicked the wrong thing when setting up my site. Now I see all the other site tabs within my parent site, and I don't want to see those tabs. Is there a way to go back in and change that setting so I don't see the other site tabs at the top of the page?
Thanks!
OK, I created a report in Crystal 8 Developer. It has all the database connections within it, and runs fine through crystal reports. I'm following all the examples from Crystal to view a report called from ASP, but I'm getting a "User Session has expired error". Any ideas? Any...
I was looking for more info about the installation of it. Like does the whole Crystal Reports package need installed on the web server, or just certain components? Thanks.
OK, I'm new to Crystal Reports. I have Crystal Reports 8. How do I go about viewing reports from asp pages? I assume I must install Crystal on the web server? Install and register controls? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
