Cant start arcserve 2000 jo engine
Make shure to register your Arcserve. I had the same problem it would time out and not start. There is a log file in the caLic Folder check that and see if there are any errors in it.- shawnw

I am having the same problem I think Let me tell you what my setup is. One NT server4.0 running exchange server5.5 that is the main box or the one that is attached directly to the internet.
