I ran a report, which has a restricted number of records, via the ActiveX viewer - it worked perfectly. I ran the same report, this time with a less restrictive filter (i.e. more records) and it gave the error message: "Error detected by database dll [on page server XXXXX]".

I have succesfully created an on-demand sub-report for each detail line of a 'main' report.
I now wish to embed further sub-reports within the on-demand one, but the menu command to do this is 'greyed out'.
Does that mean that this action is not possible?
(I am using Crystal Reports version 8)...
Group the report by Ticket ID. Create a detail line formula which = 1 if 'Group' = GRP1 AND Status = Closed. Sum that formula by the Ticket Group. Select based on Sum >= 1.

Crystal Reports (v 8.0) on a client PC running Windows 2K successfully reads a certain MS Access query. If the same report is run from CR on a networked server (NT 4.0) it will appear to read that Access query but in fact returns no records. Both ODBC drivers seem to be configured identically...
