I'm going to close this one out. I have instituted a work around which eliminates the VM:Tape MOUNT command by taking VM:Tape out of the backup scenario. I have set it up so that VM:Backup takes care of the backups and the tape pools and I just have an EXEC which attaches a tape drive to VMB...

Okay, well judging by the overwelming response to this post,
this is probably the wrong forum although as stated in my
first post, the 3006 IS a P/390 (has a P/390E card, etc.)
so I would suspect it should be included. I found out the
answers to the questions I had but if anyone else is using...
Anyone utilizing these? They're the replacement for the
PC Server 330 P/390 and as such I'm surprised I don't see
anything about them in this forum. Maybe they need their
own forum?? I've got some questions if this is the right
place to ask them.. :-)
