    HiPPI 4.0 and 3.31 compatibility

    HiPPI 4.0 and 3.31 compatibility We have a mix of workstations and servers running IRIX and interconnected with the HiPPI interface. We keep seeing data loss between new systems with HiPPI4.0 and systems with the HiPPI 3.31 interface. Any known problems or has any one else seen this? Thanks

    Year Jump on Reboot

    I have an o200, IRIX6.5.5 that the year jumps by one occasionally on reboot. An errant timeserver has been ruled out. Anybody seen this one or have any suggestions? Thanks

    Floppy Disk Transfers between Solaris 2.8 and Windows Platforms.

    Hello Does anyone know why a disk from NT cannot be read from Solaris 2.8 FDD? I have no problems with 3.5” floppies from Windows ME or 95 but when I try and transfer data from an NT box the File Manager sees the FDD but no files. The command line is the same. If I take that disk to my ME...

    o200 error excessive SBE's

    Never tracked the error message but the cause was heat related. User closed off the airflow to the front of the unit and it overheated. cleared airflow, problem gone

    I get the following message. CPU 0: 88 scache single bit errors Excessive SBEs Can't seem to find anywhere if this is a memory problem or a CPU assembly problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
