How do I set the log_long_queries variable? (What is the command?) I have a very slow application, and I'd like to see if mysql is the problem. Do I have to bounce the DB server once I set the variable? Where will the output go?
Thanks!
Sometimes the counters for the "onstat -p" output just need to be reset. Try running "onstat -z" to reset those counters, then check your output again after a few minutes. You'll find that your "onstat -p" output more accurately reflects your current performance.
