I can't get this to work either with automatic nat rules or manually.
If I use automatic, I get nothing.
If I use manual, I can ping the internal address from the firewall and the log shows the traffic getting out through the firewall, but no return.
It looks like WIN2k is not arping...
Hide NAT works fine.
You do need RRAS in routing mode.
You need to define objects with Hide Nat, either networks, ranges or workstations.
You don't need ARP tables for Hide NAT.
