Hi guys,
Anyone old enough to help me with a Definity flashcard? I need to know how to flash an upgrade card. I allready have the FW file and need to know at least the following:
- what filesystem does the card use
- or what tool can I use to flash the card?
Any help/hints/tips much...
Well.. just setup a test rigg and it just works. SES R5.0 running on an old S8500B works fine on a S8300 running CM6 (evolution server). Oh well... it's just not supported ;-)
Well, basically if you got a test number from your provider and your PRI is connected and up, you should be able to dial the test number and make an incoming call. That is to say, your installer should have provisioned this ofcourse. You should also be able to make outgoing calls, depending on...
Unless you're experiencing problems or the FW of the MM's do not support the CM version you should be OK. Btw check the HW version of the MM710, I know there's some issue with v10 I believe (check support site).
Nope, not supported on CMM. What do you need to do with faxes? CMM supports faxes on t.38 and delivers them to your mailbox. You cannot forward them to email natively, but there are plenty of tools for doing so (popcon for example).
Also, try the basic stuff like transfer/conference. Check numbering format on your display and when using IP phones, check your call log for correct entries and being able to use callback from the log. Test the internal phonebook of the IP phones and check if backup/restore works on them as...
Anyone had this issue? After a (forced) reboot the sdom isn't starting and therefore the rest of the VM's neither. Only cdom is running and is accessible using root access. During boot I get an error that XEND isn't running. XM shell is working, XM list gives an error along the lines of 'unable...
Hi,
Anyone familiar with the BT DASS2 protocol? And is there someone who can tell how to (or how not to) hook it up to an Avaya Communication Manager using the MM710 card?
Thanks...
David
Hi,
I'm trying to connect a T1 trunk to an Avaya Communcation Manager (rel 5). Can anybody help me with the correct config for DS1, Signaling and trunk settings? Currently the trunks are connected to a Nortel system using the NT7B74 board, which supposedly is T1. I have no idea how to configure...
Hi,
Same here, according to the manuals you can only enter an accountcode before call setup. If you have found a way to enter account codes on incomming calls, please share! ;-)
Hello,
I'm currently trying to build custom reports (using screenpainter, yes I know, but I need to have reports in text format) and I need to have a realtime report to show the servicelevel for a certain skill. But like in an integrated report, so from the beginning of the day up to the moment...
Thanks, but I allready got it... Turns out I only need to add static routes. The server's eth2 and eth3 do not have default gateway's that can be administered, only static routes can be added to get to another subnet.
Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to connect a second PN over a WAN. So, basically I have the server at location A and the PN with it's IPSI at location B. I know I can set the gateway in the IPSI board, however, in the S8720 I cannot find a gateway for the control network. Has anybody done...
Guys, reply from Avaya:
< From the documents I have access to it appears that this came out in CM4.0.1 which is the last GA release and is not specific to S8720 or any other hardware for that matter. It was more like a design oversight in CM4.0 allowing Customer with certain login accounts...
Well, I don't know how to disable it. The strange thing however, I only have this on ONE of two S8720 pairs... (??) Anyone shine some light on this?
Rgds
Hi Sunnyphone,
Make sure you check the correct settings on the station form. It should NOT have any configuration number set. Check for the docs on support.avaya.com and check ALL settings are the same, not only the highlited items...
Good luck,
David
