Tape Identifies as 55555
We are having a problem with B.E. 8.6 version 3808 and an old DEC library combo that will occasionally inventory a tape 55555. I/O bus was reset error message
I had this problem one time on a Compaq Msl5026. Basically, I re-installed Compaq drivers for the Scsi card which were Adaptec as well as the Medium changer but left the sdlt drives using the Veritas drivers.- backupbing
