I've got a Viewsonic V37 with Pocket PC 2002 as its OS. For awhile Viewsonic offered Windows Mobile 2003 upgrades for $39.95, I think, but they no longer do. Very frustrating!
Does anyone know where I can get the Windows Mobile 2003 upgrade for the V37?
Thanks for your help. :^)

Thanks to paul84 for his reply.
sedj: Even though you used "please", it would be nicer if you would assume SurvivorTiger was a newbie. Next time, explain to him/her what "cross-posting" is before admonishing him for a simple mistake.

I put the 120GB as the master on the other IDE channel's cable this evening. It now works.
Strange, but true -- and YOU are there! (Sorry, Walter!)

UPDATE:
I changed the MASTER jumper on the 40GB to ||.. versus the |..| I had set before. This was supposed to be MASTER WITH SLAVE, but it didn't work, either.
Has anyone read anything about old and new Deskstar HD's not being on the same IDE cable? I'll try that tonight, but I have my doubts...
Quick addendum:
When I disconnect the 120 GB, the system now sees the 40 GB.
These are both Deskstar HD's.
My mobo is the Abit NV7-133R with an AMD 2000+ CPU.
Thanks again!

This is weird...
My 40GB drive has been reformatted and setup with WinXP Pro. When I install my 120 GB drive, my pc sees the 120 GB but no longer sees the 40 GB at all.
Any suggestions as to what I try?

I just looked in MS Outlook to see how Task alerts can be defined. Under TOOLS...OPTIONS you can set a time, but it applies to all tasks per day, not each of them.
If you want individual reminders at odd times, you'll need to schedule it in the calendar instead.

Which version of Windows are you using? If you're using Win98 or later, you should be in decent shape. That's because they're configurable so you can use both video cards, if you have two monitors. If you do NOT want to use 2 monitors, then disable your onboard video.
I just bought and...
Yes, I was hoping that using real names, instead of numbers, for setting things up is a lot more reliable --- and readable.
Enjoy! Glad to help.

Sorry to make you do another copy-and-paste, but I'd like to see the code that actually creates the indices.
The SET ORDER TO 4 line scares the heck out of me. What if another routine updates indices by trashing the old ones and recreating them? If you have ONE routine that does that, you're...
I agree with CHPicker. It's very subjective, but my own preference is to use VFP. It's object-oriented and a heck of a lot faster than VB of any sort. VB is object-based, so you don't get true inheritance. That makes development a bit more difficult and time-consuming.

Can we see the code that may be causing the problems? We need to see the SEEK() statements, etc.
Thanks! ** Gerry White

Good old TUCOWS comes through again.
BTW: I entered "hp palmpc freeware" through Google to find this site.

p.s. "Acheiver" should be spelled "Achiever". Sorry, I couldn't resist...

This page describes how to take your Palm V/Vx apart so you can dive into it to replace parts.
Try "palm repairs" in Google for more good info.

What might cause an Outlook message to keep getting sent over and over? We can't tell if it's the client or server causing this.
Any suggestions? ** Gerry White

Thanks, guys! It turns out I had buffering set to 3 - which is for ROW buffering. I should have had it set to 5 - for TABLE buffering.
I got this answer from a person on the UT website. (www.UniversalThread.com), which is another major hangout for Foxpro/VFP-types. I'm starting to like...
