Low resolution/colour after format
Funny thing happened to me yesterday. After having the same monitor for 5 years and never getting it to run on a higher res than 1024x768, I'd formatted my hard drive, installed Windows 98 and let it choose the monitor/video drivers. I then installed the latest drivers for the NVIDIA graphics...- tangy

Wallpaper problem on bootup!!!!
Active Desktop is evil! It did the same thing to me after working seamlessly forever. One day, it just went crazy on start-up. Is there a fix or anything for this?- tangy

Logon security Win 98
For some reason I cannot get the Microsoft Family Login box to work. I used to have it running smoothly but since I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled Windows ME the thing just won't come up. I can only get the logon box where anyone can enter any user name or hit esc to prevent logging in...- tangy
