    Hi, I am a novice on how to install SGI application software on the machine. What I learned is that install the MODULE first, and then install the compilers. But I cannot make it work. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    hi, you can check www.ebay.com and get the sled-CDROM Hardware and then insert it into the workstation, turn off your SGI, and then reboot it. The system, suppose, should automatically install the device. If not, you need check the SGI manual. Good luck.
