    JPEG files converted to VBScript file

    I received an email with a VBScript file attachement. Nothing seemed to be happening when I tried to open the attachment. I then discovered that all of the jpg and some of the gif files (over 1,000 files) were converted to VBScript file type and I cannot open them. Help!!!
