We have many users that are confused when checking voicemail because the keypad for the active call is not visible. Does anyone know of a setting where when your on an active call and have to enter digits the dailpad is displayed without selecting the keypad icon.
We have a similar issue and have discovered faxing over SIP is a pain. We route all faxing out a traditional T1 via the COR.

Thank you Kyle555!! I was not aware that locations in SM are equivalent to network regions in CM. We are much smaller in size. Multiple physical locations but all within one area code. We set all users/station with a home location of CM. I assume doing this, location definition within SM is less...
Thank you all for your time. I am fixing all of our Network Regions(NR) that are now direct connect to each other. I do have some questions that are not easily spelled out in Avaya documentation.
1. We have 2 session managers. one at our main site, were CM lives, and another at a data center...
Hello all. We have been deploying the Avaya Equinox app on cellular devices and are having a difficult time troubleshooting why they drop off the network. We have removed the sim cards and put them on a internal network. This was to remove cellular coverage issues within buildings. Equinox does...
Does anyone know an easy way to get port usage/capacity per tenant? We have 30 different sites and I wanted to know if there was an easy way to spread that maintenance cost to each group?
Thanks for your time.
I have been putting in new cisco air-lap1131 access points along side existing cisco air-1220 APs. The problem we are now facing is that the avaya wireless 3620s drop calls when switching from the old to new new APs as you move around the facility. The phone gets a avpp error. Has anyone had...

You could also use some greenfield (flex conduit) with an electrical box on the end. I have used this before and works great. The kiosk can move a little and not effect the communication.
well put skip555.
jml1911a1 a appreciate your honesty of have no excuses.
I ran some lines in a plant environment and used flex pipe atached to a kelum grip with a beam clap on the trusses. It worked great. It protects the line from ceiling to floor, can be moved, and coiled up if relocation...
I am in the same boat mikeydidit.
I have tried cross connect from Superior Essex and it is worse then the general cross connect. My sources tell me they are the only two out there. I hope not.
I have looked at some zone boxes for a 2' x 2' raised floor system and can not find any that I like.
I played with Panduits 11u zone box and was disappointed. In order to install you have to take out 4 addition tiles and since we are using 4’ stringers I would have to take out possibly 8...
If you plan on using a complete solution such as Panduit, Avaya, ect... use your rep. They can help you design the rack layout using their equipment.
I use Visio for rack diagrams. Many equipment makers have downloads of their gear.
Good luck

Why is this an odd request? I have to figure out if it is better to install APs in the cars or in the shafts. Have you come across better solutions? I am open to all ideas
thanks
Sorry...This is for a LAN environment.
I am not sure what you mean by a "small patch or stub antenna". Does this Stub or Patch antenna require connectivity or does it just relay the signal?
Thanks
