I have downloaded the critical update function on some WIN98 pcs. To disable it you can go into internet and disable it under advanced. You can also do this thru the startup panel. The message still comes up to download critical updates.
Are there any other places you need to disable it or do...
We have a Dell laptop that comes up with a PC5250 error message PCSWS044. It says windows is requesting permission to sleep while one or more sessions are connected. If you don't want it to you hit cancel but this causes Client Access sessions to disconnect incorrectly.
Checked and pc is not...
I have Excel 2002 on a WIN98 machine. We update Client Access and since then my pattern on my documents don't print the same. The have vertical lines in them. Updated the printer driver and now the ones that printed funny print fine but the ones that printed fine before the printer driver now...
We found the messages. The .dbx files were new and we imported the messages from Outlook Express 4 to the new version and they were back.

I recently loaded the new Turbo tax package onto my computer. A message came up that it was updating Internet Explorer to Ver??. When I go into my email in Outlook Express my folders are gone and so are my messages. Where did they go and how can I get them back?
We are getting the same error message CWBTF00222. Our users are on Win98 using Client Access V3R2MO with the latest service pack. This is only happening to one of the users. The others work fine. If he gets the error, cancels out and retries it, it works just fine.
