Hi, I have set up the CIM for OpenView integration but it only works when ovw is started by the root user (if started by any other ID, you can't see the compaq symbols, and the web-enabled icons won't run). Has anyone set this up to work when ovw is run by a non-root user? Thanks.

You can change the symbol for one specific device by simply right-clicking and selecting "change symbol type". To change the symbol for all devices of a certain type, you'll need to edit the oid_to_sym file. Let me know if you want instructions for doing that.
