We ran across a weird situation. We have discovered that some PDF files become corrupted when they are sent to us through Microsoft Outlook (I think it happens in Outlook Express as well). When we save the attachment and try to open (or just try to click on it and open), we receive an error...
I was finally able to rid myself of this critter. I will explain in case anyone else has the same problem. It turned out that there were 6 primary files involved (all in windows/system32 folder):
mszx23.exe
drct16.dll
klogini.dll
klo5.sys
tmpf00.exe
tmpf01.exe
