First you need to install iis on the server ..
you can open a browser on the server and enter:
http://localhost
or 127.0.0.1
Then a iis window should start..
then u can use the mmc to setup your website ..
normally in the directory C:\inetpub\wwwroot

i'm having problems creating a lpt5 port on a win98 box attached to a 2000 server ??
Net USE lpt1-4 \\server\printershare work ok but lpt5 doesn't work.
any ideas how to fix this ???
If you'll download the DOS netware client 2.7x
windows 3x will be upgraded to use this clients ..
so just dl them from novell.com
Sometime 3x is a bit "bitchy" be sure you use the latest drivers for you nic ...
SP9 ... and the newest versions of the clients ..
But the nice thing is the server is gonna be replaced for a more up-to-date machine so no hurries .. i'll check it out later .. :)

Checked it but didn't work
I reinstalled the program that did the trick :(
ah well got it working now ... atleast till the next time my db screws up :) ..

I deleted the directories had to use the nwadmin because explorer saw the directoy ... (but not in the directory pane on the left) <grin>
and then i recreated them
This fixed the dos, long name problems .. but now if some of my clients (who are using the win2k...
