I tried this, but if you click in the Format Section to select underlay following sections, as I think you need to do, all the other headings appear over the top of the data. If you move the headings to the group header, obviously you only get them at the start of a group...

thanks for the pointer. I shall be trying this tonight. The reason I put the CDs on separate ribbons was that I was told that there would be fewer conflicts/ faster write speeds if I did this. Guess I can't have that AND an extra HD, Huh?
I have installed a second hard disc drive and also have two CDs a reader and a writer, previously installed.
Now I have sorted out the master/slave/IDE cable puzzle, I have:
Primary Master - 1st hard disk
Primary slave - CD reader
Secondary Master - CD writer
Secondary Slave - 2nd hard disk...
