    I launched the Nortel Voice Mail Manager and did as you suggested, under Auto-Attendant, Lines, Line 061 was set to Answer = Yes, I changed it to Answer = No, and now DN 500 just rings until someone answers or falls into x500's voicemail, as I wanted. Thank you!!!

    We don't have an AA/CCR, at least not used since I joined the company. PRI lines all go to x500, and after hours it goes to the general delivery voicemail.     When I set Trunk Mode to Supervised, I get the option for Answer mode = Auto, and Answer with DISA = No, but calling in still ends up with a dial tone. Very odd.
