Have you tried starting and stopping CMM from web browser? - Yes I did with the same result.

Our CMM stopped working. Tried to "Stop and Start Messaging but would fail and did the "Shutdown Server" but with the same result. This is what I am getting from the Start/Stop Messaging:
/VM/apps/shutdown/shutdown.ela: ELA software is not running.
