XP Pro Shutdown problems
Check in Control Panel->Peformance and Maintenance->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Event viewer to see if you are getting any errors. A 3-5 minute shutdown will generally cause an event to be logged.- pierrebrown

Hello IE experts - I have IE 5.5
Many sites are poorly designed regarding java script. If only a few sites are giving you this problem, you can alway uncheck the 'display notification about every script error, and check the ' turn off script debugging ' in Tools->Internet Options->Advanced. Scroll down to the Browsing section.- pierrebrown
