    it sounds like your bios will not suport the drive. try contacting your MB manufactor and downloading a flash upgrade for your bios. this sould sort the problem out.

    if you havent used fdisk befoe then i would sugest you research it first. fdisk partitions your hdd. if you dont do this you can screw up the disk.
