    Our DB server's mirrored c drive crashed and we are limping on 1 drive right now. It was not a clean switch and we had some msdb repairing to do. But the problem now is the DB backup which used to take 12 minutes is now taking several hours. Any ideas? Thanks, Ed Kale

    Good Question. I believe they are two separate trees. The domains do not share a namespace. The domains are ncproducts.com and ncpi.com. ncproducts.com is the first domain created and the one we want to remove.

    Whenever the server with attached scsi tape hangs on shutdown when it comes back up the tape is not accessible. I get "/dev/rct0: cannot create". If I reboot cleanly it clears up. Is there any way to enable the tape w/o rebooting? Thanks, Ed
