I'm currently developing an extension that needs to present some data to the cashier. Is there any way to write text on the page, directly on a content area or any other elements on a page or do I need to present all custom text in dialogs?

Hi, We have a setup with 1 workstation and 1 KDS. However I can't get the checks to be written to the KDS. The Revenue center has it configured as an order device. What do I need to ensure to be setup in EMC to get it to work?
