I know this is an older post, but for those out there trying to figure this out.
I could not get this device to work fully, but I do have it working to point it can make and receive calls.
I am assuming you have the phone registered.
Log into the WebGui.
>>Settings >> General Settings >>NAT...
If you have not setup of the SSL Certs, then this will be the root cause of the issue.
here is a great guide on deploying SIP endpoints on Avaya IP Office...
Make sure all the users have a properly configured SIP settings.
Under Users/SIP
SIP Name = full 10 digit phone number
SIP Disply = Name you want displayed.
Contact = Extension Number
SIP Calls will fail from users that do not have those fields properly configured.
Could be a couple of things.
What do have in System/Lan/Network Topology?
Also, the users need to have the SIP field configured properly or SIP providers will reject the call.
Check under Users/(edit User)/SIP
SIP Name = A 10 digit phone number <- Very important.
Display Name = What you want...
On recent IOS versions, there is a new security feature under Wifi.
I had to toggle off Private Wi-Fi Address of Avaya Workplace to register.
I had no issues when registering over the cellular data network.
Hope this helps.
I don't know if this is possible, but I am trying manipulate the caller ID displayed on a mobile phone that is twinned.
Incoming call Route -> Exten 701
Extension 701 is Twinned to a mobile phone.
Would like the display on the mobile phone to not show the originating caller, but instead show...
Check voip security in system.
Are you allowing all devices, or filtering Avaya Only.
Make sure that the SIP settings under the user are correct.
SIP Name = 10 digit phone number
SIP Display Name - Extension
SIP Contact = Extension.
On some 3rd party SIP endpoint, like Cisco.. I could only...
Check your NAT type in the LAN settings, and make sure you enter your public IP on those settings as well.
If that is set incorrectly, the SIP Headers will not have the correct address and will not be able to find your device, which results in one way audio.
One way audio is always (99.99%)...
I had that issue as well, just recently.
For me I had forgot that I had been testing out some of the embedded security features, and enabled "Allow SIP User Agents - Whitelisted Only
I had to go into the Voip/Access Control List and add Avaya Vantage Connect/3.1.1.2 to the whitelist.
I also...
The extended agreement with Ring Central to enhance ACO is not a threat to IP Office.
1.) The extended ACO agreement opens the door to selling Wholesale, instead of agency. This means ACO can go on Partner Paper. Partners have been asking for this.
2.)IP Office is a battle tested, on premise...
I have never setup one of those specifically, but I have a couple thoughts.
Do you the the required 3rd Party end point licence?
If so, then edit the extension and under Voip, make sure enter the IP address of the unit, and reserve a 3rd Party Endpoint License.
Regarding your first post on invalid header.
The error message suggests that the header of the TPKT message received from the IP address x.x.x.x is invalid. Specifically, the first five bytes of the header have the values 13, 10, 13, 10, and 0, which do not match the expected values for a valid...
If I had to guess, I would say there is something not quite right with he One-X Portal resilience configuration.
Maybe spend some time validating your resiliency configuration...
The first set of errors are related to archiving log files, and they indicate that there are duplicate entries for several log files. This could be caused by a problem with the archiving process, or it could indicate that the system is generating more log files than expected.
The second set of...
If you have two way audio on the local net, but no audio on the remote, then this is 100% network.
As some have mentioned it very well could be a firewall setting, especially if you have filter on both inbound and outbound traffic.
One other thing to consider is that you have your LAN 1 or LAN2...
As mentioned I had to completely rebuild my lab.. from scratch.
When I completed the build, APN no longer worked for me, just as it did not work for many of you in this thread.
This really confused me because I had it working solid for a year or two.
I saw Derfloh's post "It works with the...
If Avaya goes into Chapter 11, in my opinioit will be the similar to 2016 to restructure the debt. No liquidation.
Avaya is not going anywhere.
The CEO admits that Avaya over rotated on the subscription/cloud model, and is keeping perpetual licensing and premise systems, as it actually gives...
