Hello all, am looking for a stand alone call recording solution that is compatible with NEC digital phones. Not looking to record ip phones, only digital phones and maybe analog. NEC has a MyCalls Call Recorder but not sure how integrating that system is into the whole univerge universe. Am...
In our setup, there is no 11-05 listed in PCPro or Web. For 10-58, we do not use any IP phones, only digital mlt and slt, so not sure. It's a setting somewhere, when calling from the inmail auto-attendant, there is one way audio from the AA. When calling from an extension, there is no audio...
Thank you CoralTech, I looked into your suggestions (in addition to your suggestions on another similar post), and not having any luck yet. I've checked the following:
14-01-13 Trunk to Trunk Transfer for all trunks (was already set)
20-11-06 Unscreened Transfer (was already set)
20-11-14 Trunk...
Accessing the inmail auto attendant internal to the system came up earlier in this thread, so thought I would add how to do that, since I originally didnt know.
- If you do this in PCPro, use form view!
- 10-42-01: Set the number of trunks you would like to assign as virtual trunks. Default is...
Ok, I think I have a good one. I set up a call forward on all calls from an extension to a trunk access code. This works locally no problem. I can call an extension, get dial tone and call outside numbers. The caller can hear the called and vice versa. On an MLT, this call is displayed as: Ext #...
Thank you again CoralTech! I changed 47-13 Dialed Transfer on the appropriate key from UTRF to TRF and that took care of the problem. Anytime an extension is dialed that is out of the current cabinets number plan results in an "Invalid Entry" response. Thanks again!
CoralTech tech's suggestion worked like a charm. I'm on InMail for reference, and once I figured out that voicemail was in group 128, it was easy to setup.
Now a new problem though. Auto attendants at remote CCIS cabinets can access those numbers that are excluded locally. It seems the block...
Hello all, we have several SV9100 system networked via CCIS. At each site, there is a piece of equipment that interfaces via trunk line, that needs to be accessible throughout the network. Preferably these individual trunk lines would be accessible via a regular extension number, but if that is...
dept group of your vm? My apologies, I am very green on NEC. We have a single auto attendant which is handle by InMail from what I understand. Is there a way to make this work with this configuration?
Thank you CoralTech. We are on INMAIL. So I guess the only option is to put those extensions into a different extension range and set inmail to not transfer in that range... Learning a new system is always fun : ) I've also just learned that you cannot dial the auto attendant from inside they...
Hi all, is it possible to block some extensions from being accessible via the auto attendant? I want the users to be able to dial an extension if they know it, but there are some that they should not be able to dial. I would like to keep the extension that needs blocked in the same range of...
I found the MTBF information in the UNIVERGE SV9100 System Hardware Manual (version 12.1) page 2-41 (p.147). It actually shows the 6 bay chassis to be 6.49 years with the B & E chassis at 10 years. I'm glad you mentioned Netlink in this and the other post. I'm still waiting to hear back from the...
For most of our sites, a wall mounted system would be more appropriate anyway, where the old wall mounted system would be removed and replaced with a new wall mounted system. Chassis interchangeability would be essentially the same with the smaller ones, but I understand your point. An easily...
Hi all, we are soon to be getting an SV9100 system which will be installed across several sites. Most sites can fit within 6-bays, but some will require 8 or 9 bays. For the physical hardware there are a couple options, there is a 19" metal 6 bay chassis or you can combine a 9.5" plastic 3 bay...
For the extensions in our operations center, there will be way more internal calls to record than trunk side. I was thinking that was going to be a problem, especially on digital extensions, but thanks to ya'lls suggestions I see that usbcallrecord has a digital extension recorder that is...
Hi all, we are getting a non-voip SV9100 system installed soon and there may be a need in the future to have call recording on a few of the digital extensions. I believe the requirement would be to record all calls on these extensions, both internal and calls on external trunks. I see that NEC...
Thank you very much for the advice belevedere and CoralTech. CoralTech, we were replying at the same time and I did not see your post until I had posted mine. Yeah, the documentation would be all wrong and I can see that being a problem. If we were to change the service codes, I think we could...
This seems to be a pretty common limitation of phone systems. Large blocks of possible extension numbers are reserved for system features. I really wish that werent the case. It would be great if it were possible to implement a number plan that allowed say, all of accounting at site 1 to be...
