Anyone have any success with this?
I do videos and support for the 3700 system so running a lab is essential for me. I've worked off of a series of lab systems on VMs on a Mac of various varieties over the years. Because you can't import existing systems into parallels but have to start from...
Here's another example. Despite the large outstanding on this checkout the Net sales was identical for Server and Cashier. I notice that the difference is negative.
Thanks!
Hello!
I've got a client that is set up to use cashiers. Trying to create a 40-column closing tip report for the servers but am running up against the difference between a cashier's net sales and an employee's net sales. On the cashier reports I am almost always getting an "Outstanding" total...
In the process of doing a patch on 5.5. Everything went ok except 1 terminal - "Installation of Win32RES Failed"
Then it gets in a multiple boot loop.
All other terminals are operational.
Hi All -
Has anyone run into any issues when administering the patch? I tried it on a virtual system unsuccessfully (Windows failed to start during the restart). Going to try it on a live system this week and was wondering what the common experience has been?
Thanks!
Hi All -
Please add me as well to the patch dropbox. I work with restaurants that are on different versions.

As an aside - Is there anything available for older versions? I've got an old lab system (4.6.4).
(Somewhat related - I will add a new thread for this: How do...
basically I want to add a line on the bottom of the kitchen order chit for Take Out orders that reads the time of the transaction and then automatically adds 30 minutes and then prints it on the order chit. That way the kitchen could juggle in house orders as a priority and take out as needed...
yeah but it sounds like you were using auto menu levels for all of that. It's the manual menu level change buttons that mess things up. I'll have to check out the price substitution. I didn't see that - maybe my micros is too old. But I'll take another look for sure. Using the auto discounts...
I'd be curious to discover how you can set a different price. The % and $ are pretty clear but not that.
On Wednesday in POSCONFIG is Menu Levels, Auto Menu Levels set to pop up to Main 1 , Sub 3? Yes - that's how it's pulling the correct price
In POSCONFIG RVC Transactions check your pop up...
Sorry if I'm not being clear. Auto levels are turned on and operating correctly.
Challenge: Different price every day for beer item - Tuesdays and Sundays price is reduced. (Price reduction is not standard - just the final price).
Solution:
Auto Menu Levels
Mon Main 1 Sub 1 - Monday Period...
Thanks for the feedback - I've got it set up for Main 1, sub (day of the week) and then a button changing the sub when I need to tell the system to sell a growler or a taste (sub 8 -10). But I can't get it back to the starting menu level.
The key question is - Is there no way to tell the system...
So this is driving me crazy - I'm trying to have different prices for each day while also having the ability to define 4 different pour sizes for draft beer.
Auto Main levels 1-7 for M-Su (this is actually irrelevant - I think to this question)
Sub levels for prices
Pint price is the price for...
The easiest way to get the old EJ Organizer running is to use a utility called "Run as Date." A three line batch file is all you need to get it going.
I would LOVE to see another program that could parse the journal files as easily as this does!
@pmegan - whatever happened to the one that...
@Wildbar - you are correct. I'm looking for DB access but I think @rickkelley is as well in order to backdoor password info.
Ahhh.... The unicorn(getdba). From my understanding that would be a very handy tool to have. Suggestions? Clients that are on newer systems are having to go through...
Anyone have any suggestions for accessing the database for a Micros 3700?
I've tried, custom, installer, micros, no luck. All of the ones that used to work are not working on this client.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Jason
