Well, you wont have a delay if you use a number to access the PSTN (i.e.- in the US it is popular to dial 8 or 9 to get out). Are you configured so that you just need to dial any valid PSTN number directly?
In what way did my solution not prepend the 02 in front of the ANI on the inbound call...

I have done both redundant DHCP (sort of) and redundant TFTP. For the DHCP I have split the scope across two or more DHCP servers (each one with half of the scope).
To have fully redundnat DHCP you will need to use something like Cisco Network Registrar for fully redundnat DHCP.
The TFTP...

All fax server software does that (esp. Faxination). The question is how do you integrate it with the PSTN. You can either install a T1 card or an IP card and tie them into PBX's or the PSTN directly.

You mean fax over IP?
I do not know of software that will do it but Brooktrout makes a fax-over-IP card that works with Fenestrae (faxination) and other software. This would integrate with CCM as an H.323. I am not sure that there is any software that work with Skinny...
Are you saying that the PBX plays music on hold instead of ring when the secretary's phone rings? If so you will have to use IPCC express that comes with CCM and create a script that answers the call and then attempts to ring an agent phone (secretray).
SOunds like a pain to not have a ring...
Or you can go with the age old technology of Frame-Relay. THe good thing about Frame-Relay is that it can be cheap and unlike MPLS is available in all the backwoods parts of the country.

Some later versions of CCM the file comes with it. It should be under C:\Program Files\Cisco\bin

Create a CSS lets say PSTNXlate
Create a Partiton lets say PSTNXlate
Create a translation pattern (assuming 4 digit dialing)
Pattern - XXXX
Partiton - PSTNXlate
Calling Search Space - (whatever your gateway now uses)
Route Option - Route this pattern
**Under the Calling Party...
I have done this in the past for my installations.
Basically you will need to create a new CSS for your gateway that contains a partiton with translation patterns. All the translation patterns do is prepend the 9 or 91 on the ANI of each call.

sounds like an issue with the replication between the servers. What version of CCM do you have? Depending on the version you might have a file called DBLHelper.exe run that file on your publisher and see what the status is on the various tabs of the application. IF they are not all green you...
THe upgrade process re-installs the whole server and then upgrades the database. CCM 3.1 if I remember correctly uses MSSQL 7 and all other CCM versions run MSSQL 2000. Make sure that you are following the instuctions fully and not just trying to insert the CCM CD's and attempting to upgrade...
unfortunatly the error is a generic BS error with no explaination. WHat you are going to need to do is look at the logs on the client side to see what is happening.

what version of Call Manager are you using???
With 3.3 or higher you can set ring policies on each line to ring a specific way (i.e. - flash only).
This is done under the line configuration.

I am not to familiar with CCME but if you are allowed to configure Dial-peers on the router that is how you would 'connect' the router to the PBX.
dial-peer voice 999 voip
destination-pattern <dialed string>
