    Last night I looked at it again. There was no Search Service in services. Tried the Fix-it.It didn't work. I did an in-place upgrade and now will not install updates. I believe the best solution for this machine is a re-image. Jerry

    We are trying to get Windows Search re-installed on a Windows 7 Pro computer and it will not re-install.
