I have suddenly lost the ability to export a query (and other objects) from one database to another in the case where the full network path is specified. (or to browse via desktop folder shortcuts)
It works OK on a mapped drive but not where I address by \\server\folder\folder...\file.mdb...

Yes! I found a bad data row where the table had been modified directly without the error checking in the form.

Thanks for your comments. Yes, it is a bit untidy!
The table structure is based on a hierarchy of data (and its history) built up from individuals into households hence the columns - it saves a lot of cross tabbing.
The query works fine in Access but it fails when importing to Excel - and this...

I have actually found that recreating my Windows User Profile solved the problem so I guess it was related to a corrupt profile somehow.
