I have a customer in a darkened location running 9.0.0.829 on an ip office , This customer wants the backlight on the 1608 sets to turn off automatically at 5 seconds thereabout after they've hung up the phone.
How possible is it to achieve this please.

you could manipulate the incoming call routing on the PBX level to have calls go anywhere you desire within the PBX. The only constant for this call routing would be designated by the TELCO which is the DID dialed numbers 123XXX-199XXXX and/or 345XXX- whatever
