i have a cross tab report that i want to add the month using formula. If month = january, add all january cost, if month is feb, january cost+febraury cost. if month is march then january+feb+march cost and so on. any help will be appreciated.

I'm not sure I understand you well but since you know your formula to use, the condition you want to use in the record section should be used in the formula section and use the formula instead of the field.
