I found the following on another site. The problem happens after installing a security rollup from Microsoft. You have to delete some registry keys to fix it. The registry keys that should be deleted are:
HKLM\Software\Citrix\CtxHook\AppInit_DLLS\speedscreen\iexplore.exe...
yes, but, after I type one of the few passwords it should be, I get an error message that says "Failed to Connect:10049" That is why I thought it was spyware.
well, the problem with this is, I am the Sys Admin :-) I did try using pearl echo briefly as a test to see how it works, but, never put a password on it to protect it from being uninstalled or disabled. I know what the corporate policy is, and considering I'm the only person in the M.I.S...
Pearl Echo seems interesting. I just had a problem reconnecting to my domain because of an issue with pearl echo showing up in a registry key where it should have been. I do have spybot installed, and I'm doing a search for hijack this right now. I searched for ec50ws on Google, and it came...
I have a program on my add/remove programs that is called "ec50ws" when I try to remove it, it asks me for my password. Considering I didn't install this program, I am not going to randomly type in passwords to uninstall it. I would like to know what this program is, and how to...
For the past week or so, I have been receiving an error message that says: e4101 Unable to login to database engine. (DATABASE=CASDB, EC=-2005) On top of that, the Database engine stops for no reason, and the media pools disappear.
I have looked on the arcserve site, and e-mailed tech support...
I was just asked to not allow certain users the ability to permanently delete e-mails. Is there a way to turn this off, either through ADUandC or through exchange System manager? Please let me know.
We currently have a T1 connection, and want to have better controls over our employees. Is there a way to either limit the time of day that certain employees are able to access the internet, or limit the sites taht they are able to view? If there is a third party software that can do this, I...
I have a client that has downloaded the latest ica client from citrix. But, when she tries to open anything, she gets a message saying that a pending update needs to complete. I have uninstalled citrix, and reinstalled it, but, the same message keeps coming up. Does anyone know where in the...
I have a machine that needs to use a local com port, however, everything is running through Citrix. How do I get Citrix to recognize a COM Port on a local machine?
I have Citrix MFXP 1.0. I have installed SP1, and am still having a problem. When outside users try and connect, one of the ports changes to ConnectQuery. Sometimes, it never changes back to idle, if it stays ConnectQuery, then nobody will be able to connect until the server is rebooted...
I added all of the domains and e-mail addresses in the filtering tab. However, e-mails from those addresses are still coming through. Is there something else that I need to do? A check box that should or should not be checked? please advise. Thanks.
I'm going to try this too, I already started copying address over from my "junk senders list" in Outlook to the Exchange server. I just wish there was an easier way to copy and paste all of the addresses at once.
I got this in an e-mail tip. check out this link, it may or may not help, I personally have not tried it yet.

Well, I didn't do that well, I ended up getting 65%, and you need 72% to pass, so one or two more questions correct, and I would have been ok. I went through the 300 practice questions that I got from www.citrixxperince.com, and did relatively well on those. But, during the actual test, I got...
I was just wondering if anyone has taken and passed the Citrix XP 220 test. I'm scheduled to take it on Friday the 1st and wanted some last minute pointers. Thanks.
