Makes sense. I'm not pro on these things, but for a workstation, a warning when I boot up should be sufficient.
I will disconnect the power to a drive while the machine is off, boot up, and see what it tells me.
Thanks. So if there's a problem and MSM is not installed, would I get warned on boot up when the Raid adaptor displays information after the BIOS screen?
I've installed MSM but it doesn't have any background process or tray icon so I don't see how it can display any messages to me.
