Just thought I'd report back to say this has been fixed and in case anyone else ever has this problem and what the solution is.
The problem was the built in address book which had an import done when the phone system was upgraded. Because the import is static and doesn't get imported via the...
Ok might be getting somewhere here.
When logging into One-X Attendant using a system admin account there is an option to delete data sets. So perhaps this is the solution? I'm at a point now where I'm thinking doing this might be the answer but am slightly weary about breaking the whole system...
Hello
That's ok I'm happy to take any suggestions right or wrong on what to check on because I still can't get this to work [sad]
Do you mean the configuration tool as per the last picture above? I don't see an option to disable the flat file phone book in here? There's nothing in the...
Hello
The option under "Phonebook" says "CM Stations" and this contains all the information for the export/import from what I can tell (using JOnAS) and this all works fine:
This doesn't seem to affect the ITB in anyway though. The file it generates gets picked up by One-X Config and appears...
The avaya password was changed but I know what this is and can login to config using it. Where am I supposed to be looking after logging into the config tool as I can only find the part about the Phonebook and Update Service which relate to the export import process and nothing about the ITB...
Yes that makes sense. I've been having a read through the documentation and can see the JOnAS references which is how the "CM Stations" ASA export then import to One-X works so that's all correct.
The integrated address book then must have had the initial import by the phone engineer when he...
Thank you for your reply.
One-X Attendant is working ok for us although I'm not the one using it (we don't get any complaints about it from our receptionists anyway).
I've had a look through the settings but can't find an option for doing anything with the phone book. I know there must be a...
Hello
A few months back we had our Avaya phone system upgraded to the latest version which included having One-X Attendant installed on our reception PCs.
A job was set up on the server to export all stations to a text file which then gets imported into One-X so that any changes we make on the...
Figured it out in case anyone else comes across this problem.
The coverage path needs to have "Cvg Enabled for VDN Route-To Party?" set to y. After changing this and a caller rings the engaged extension step 5 in vector 6 then did what it was suppose to do and route the caller back through the...
Sorry I'm a little confused. Although making Point 1 on coverage path 22 point to c6 might work I don't see how it will channel the caller back through the holiday routing as this is just sending them to the coverage answer group and not back through the vector?
If it's out of hours and someone...
Thanks for your replies
There are 8 phones in coverage answer group 6 so they all ring at the same time. I couldn't fit 8 numbers into 6 available coverage points and doing this would make then ring in sequence not at the same time anyway.
Setting point 1 of coverage path 22 to c6 might work...
Hi all
I've got a small problem with call vectoring which I think has something to do with coverage criteria.
[smile] The first part here works fine [smile]
External caller rings number - VDN 607
This goes to vector 6
Vector 6 has the following
[ol 1]
wait-time - 2 secs - ringback
goto step...
Brilliant.
Thanks guys, I'll take a look at this when I get 5 minutes to see what's what.
If I get any problems I'll definitely come back and let you know [smile]
Hi
Thanks for the quick reply.
Yes we do have EC500 and this did cross my mind as a solution. I just thought there might be an easy way to make this happen using some kind of simple one button forward key but for the life of me couldn't see it.
I've never used a 2nd coverage path but if you...
Hello
I expect this to be a very easy question but could someone advise how to make a phone forward all calls to an external number at the push of a feature button.
Phone system is Avaya (ASA version 5)
Handsets in use are Avaya 9620
The phones already have the feature button 'call-fwd'...
