Does anybody write custom Micros 3700 querys for compensation?
In short, I have a script that pulls sales such that modifiers are paired with their parent items to make 'unique' items.
This is working rather well but I no we need to start taking Price Levels into consideration.
I have a...
I'm actually trying to determine how to pull this information via a SQL query. I realize now that I wasn't clear in my original post. Thank you for the advice!
I'm trying to programmatically pull sales info from our Micros 3700 POS for inventory purposes and am running into issues. While I can determine usage from individual line items (Jack Daniels, Grey Goose, etc), I'm having difficulties when it comes to modifiers such as Doubles and Rocks. Is it...
Is Electronic Journal something that our provider has to install as an upgrade like Transaction Analyzer with 3700?
Beyond that, does anybody else have any thoughts or insight as to how I can query/extract/unload transaction history in e7? Thank you for any and all considerations!
Yikes, that sounds extremely time consuming.
So no on the historical reports.
Are there any ways to tap into e7's data structure to manually query this data myself? Electronic journal?
I will definitely check into that but from the transactions I'm not seeing any individual sales that would suggest that kind of malicious activity.
Are there any other potential avenues I should be investigating?
Does e7 have the capability to display a historical transaction report?
I'm trying to determine various routes to determine who is ringing in product that we are finding losses for.
Thank you!
Over a year ago I requested some help with a custom SQL query for Micros 3700 and it has proven quite beneficial (thank you pmegan!).
The thread in reference is as follows: thread693-1764179
I am using it with a new client and all of a sudden I am getting a plethora of negative sales items. I...
Does Aloha have functionality for an employee with higher access levels (e.g. Manager/Shift Lead) to alter the price of a button mid-shift?
I understand that this can be done in the Back Office but we are trying to completely lock down office access and one key thing has been impromptu price...
Programming the prices WILL take a long time considering it will be every Liquor and cocktail available in the POS while also managing there are no potential issue that could arise with the standing price levels already in place. I understand the inherent value in locking this down - that's not...
thread693-1765950
Since the aforementioned thread was started I have since taken up learning Python (as opposed to the suggested R due to ease of use) and and now on the right path to linking modifiers to their parent items to create unique items for inventory purposes.
At this point...
That is definitely a solid option. In the end, this will have to be done for 6 locations which entails that all of those prices will have to be changed after adding that price level option in and thus quite a bit of work.
While I will definitely keep that in mind as the most likely candidate...
It adds $2 per ring.
They are ringing Jager ($5), Double, Double, Double (just and example).
This creates a drink that is $11 dollars and accounts for 6oz of liquor (1.5oz pours).
If rang properly it would be two individual Jager Doubles resulting in a total revenue of $14.
Worse yet, they...
Is there a way I can limit the number of times a specific modifier is selected?
I understand that that the collective number of modifiers can have a min and max range but I was hoping I was missing something for individual buttons.
An example is Liquor modifiers. I would like to limit the...
Thank you for the consideration.
I have actually got this far by means of python unless you actually combine multiple modifiers to a single parent item. I'm still trying to determine the best way to fully link ALL modifiers as I'm not fully familiar with all of Aloha's DBF's.
POS is Micros 3700.
Our owner is tasking me with including line items for 6 choice items on each server's checkout.
Essentially each of these items that is sold gets a small amount paid out by the bartender to the seller as a 'commission' of sorts.
Any advice as to how to go about doing this...
