    Odd problem with service numbers.

I don't know if this helps but it appears the issue also presents itself when an Avaya phone is call forwarded to an external local area number and someone calls that Avaya phone from a Cisco phone, but again the working and failing numbers are all over the board. Works 95872223456 94032233333...

I'm going to be away for a couple of weeks now so I'll check back after that.

    Odd problem with service numbers.

OK, I hope this helps you out, again apologies if other calls get mixed in a bit. DCH 22 is the tie between Cisco and CS1K, DCH 10 is between CS1K and PSTN. Good call to 9-411 is first, then 9-811 fails. .enl msgi 22 OUTPUT TARGETS: TTY .enl msgo 22 OUTPUT TARGETS: TTY .enl msgi 10 OUTPUT...

    Odd problem with service numbers.

Sure thing, here they are. There might be a couple of unrelated log messages as this is in production so I think there might be some user calls. I tried to clean them all out as best I could: DCH 22 UIPE_IMSG CC_SETUP_IND REF 00000336 CH 4 22 TOD 13:31:27 CK 8829E33C CALLED #:9411 NUM PLAN...

    Odd problem with service numbers.

You bet, and they do look a bit different (my brain was getting log overdose that day). I highlighted the good one in green and the 2 bad ones in orange: [highlight #4E9A06]DCH 22 UIPE_IMSG CC_SETUP_IND REF 00000587 CH 4 19 TOD 16:35:45 CK 03920B36 CALLED #:9411 NUM PLAN: UNKNOWN TON...

    Odd problem with service numbers.

It came to my attention recently that service number 811 could not be dialed from our Cisco phones (actually dialing 9-811). I tested it on our CS1K phones and it works fine (9-811). This got me thinking to test all other X11 numbers (except 911 until this is fixed) and the only one that can be...

    M2250 music.

Our switchboard attendant has decided they want to change their music and I have very limited experience with console programming. My questions are: Is the same music played when a caller is put on hold, during a transfer, and when in queue during busy times on a console? I'm guessing both...

Change MoH on a per set basis

Right on, thank you once again [thumbsup2]

Change MoH on a per set basis

Perfect, thanks very much, the set had SBMD, changing it to SMBA did the trick right away. I'm curious where IMUS is found and what it does, can you elaborate on that one?

Change MoH on a per set basis

I know being able to change MoH on a per set basis was one of the last feature enhancements in the CS1K (I think in 7.65) but I can't find info on how to do it. I see a MRT (music route) prompt on the TN but changing that to another music route number changes nothing, still plays default. Is...

    VG248 upgrade file 1.3(2).

This is probably a very long shot but I need to know if there is any way to obtain the last upgrade file 1.3(2) for a VG248. We would like to upgrade to CUCM 11.5 or maybe 12 but our 12 VG248 are on version 1.2(1) or 1.3(1). They are end of support so Cisco no longer has them available for...

How to test battery backup CS1K/MRF-150/MPR-25 combo.

Alright, thanks for the info, better than the knowledge I had! For the record we have 2 strings of 4 12V batteries and 5 PBX shelves (+ 2 powered off). Current voltage sits at -52.2.

How to test battery backup CS1K/MRF-150/MPR-25 combo.

Good day, I recently replaced my batteries for our backup CS1K power and need to test it by removing building power from the rectifier. Is there any way to monitor how quickly the batteries are draining and/or most importantly know when to restore power BEFORE the system starts dying on it's...

    How to transition to VOIP

I'm running a hybrid Opt61 and Cisco CallManager environment and have also worked in the past with migrating from an Opt81 to Cisco with over 5000 users. QSIG trunks with vacant number routing is the way to go for sure, that way you can migrate one phone at a time if you want and don't have to...

    Forward No answer Analog set

I would try having it FNA to a test phone in front of you to see if that even rings. Also ensure the DN doesn't appear on another set as that TN may be controlling the forwarding parameters for that DN.

Allow external call forward but block forwarding to 9, 90, 91, and 9011.

Thx KCFLHRC, I thought of that too, but 9011 is a 4 digit number so that would still allow a phone to be maliciously call forwarded to wide open international access. bignose21, I don't even see that prompt come up in a PRT or a CHG on the route.

Allow external call forward but block forwarding to 9, 90, 91, and 9011.

^ so for that solution can the users still call 901, 9011, and 91411, just not able to forward/transfer to it? I just don't want to make any changes that break outbound calling.

Allow external call forward but block forwarding to 9, 90, 91, and 9011.

CS1K rls 7.6 here. We currently have external call forwarding denied but are being asked to enable it. My concern is that malicious call forwarding might be allowed for a toll fraud extravaganza. I know I can set maximum forwarding digit length, but is there a way to prevent forwarding to just...
