Thanks balves, excellent I have done all you suggested in access and the result was perfect. I then loaded the query into Crystal however Crystal wont let me add a table after the query. Im not sure if I quite get what you are doing. However if you are trying to link two subreports together inside your main report, you can define a Shared Variable in your first subreport, reference it in your Mian report and then it will be available for linking in your last subreport.
