1692 IP Conference phone won't boot

I have the same issue with the Avaya 1692 IP conference phones. Upon bootup, the 3 lights just stay lit solid with no screen indications. They say it's realted to firmware in which I agree, but how can you load new firmware when the phone is in this state? There has to be a procedure somewhere...

Caller ID issues showing "uknown" to mobile phones

I am experiencing the same issue when calling AT&T cell phones over Windstream. Telco can provide this feature if they are controling your caller ID, but if you are in control, that's where the problem lies. I haven't experienced this on our Verizon outbound route yet, just Windstream. I opened...

Nortel 7.5 CS1K QSI QSIG PRI tie line to Avaya CM 5.2receiving excessive DCH055 and DCH054 messages

I'm hoping someone can help with an issue we are having. About 2 weeks ago we had a double rectifier failure on Verizon's MUX and when it was brought back up one of our tie lines have been giving us excessive DCH055 & DCH054 messages on our Nortel PBX. Nothing has changed in programming ans this...

Avaya CM dialing same number terminating to 2 different stations

Thanks RTMCKEE! That's exactly what I was referring to in my original post. We have 0 built as a VDN that routes to a Split for the Operators. I've been fooling around with a test Vector that does a check based upon the users ANI and routing differently if it matches the VRT table built. Exactly...

Alright. That's what I was afraid of. Thanks for all of your time. Much appreciated.

Avaya CM dialing same number terminating to 2 different stations

Is there a way for users at the same location dial the same number "0" but terminate at 2 different locations? I'm at a Hospital environment and I would like the patients to terminate to the operators directly but employees go to the VDN routed to the Auto Attendant we have in place. Can I...

No ringback tone when X-port covers to CAG.

I have had a similar problem on an Avaya CM 6.0. We weren't getting ring back when a call was being transfered from a voicemail system at another site over SIP. I had to change a parameter on the SIP trunk-group (page 4) "Convert 180 to 183 for Early Media?" to yes to get it to work properly...

Avaya CM 6.0 receiving faxes from customers using Comcast as a provider issue

I agree. Just frustrating because just 5 miles away at a Nortel site the faxes come through fine. The only diffrence I can think of is how the calls are being routed to get the facility and the equipment it routes through on Comcast's end.

Avaya CM 6.0 receiving faxes from customers using Comcast as a provider issue

I've been back and forth with Avaya for months now about an issue we are having with receiving faxes from outside customers that have Comcast Digital Services as their provider. The issue we are having is receiving 1/4 page, 1/2 page, & blank page transmissions. I have done everything I can...

Avaya CM 6.0 1738 conf/xfr unstable call error

I received a couple complaints on the operators phones (9650's), that at times they do not have the option to transfer or conference a call. When I display the errors on those sets, I see 2 error codes that seem to be the source of my problem. A 1738 conf/xfer unstable call and a 1746 which...
