Suggestions for purchasing used POS terminals

I couldn't find an edit button, so sorry for the double post. I wanted to ask as well if you had any opinion on some of the opensource POS programs? I have setup and used POSper and it seems sufficient for a small restaurant. I've seen good reviews about LemonPOS, it seems similiar to POSper...

Suggestions for purchasing used POS terminals

Thanks RogueTech for the info, I am suggesting the J2 615 as well as estimates on a durable touchscreen monitor and pc system to my client to see which they would prefer. Have you had any particular difficulty with peripherals and that system? I am considering just using an epson tm-t88v reciept...

Suggestions for purchasing used POS terminals

I have a client looking to get some POS terminals and peripherals for their restaurant. I have some experience working with Radiant and Micros terminals, but I know with this small restaurants' restricted budget will make these systems out of their price range. Would anyone suggest a good brand...

Tsl, I managed to wire something up this time, but in the future I could certainly use a supplier. I cannot figure out how to send a private message on this forum though.

    Aloha Radiant p1220 Terminal manual/parts?

I have a client using Radiant p1220 POS terminals in a restaurant. One of the terminals has a loose power jack apparently (power cable disconnects when it is moved slightly). The place is always so busy that I cannot take one of the terminals offline to disassemble and figure out where the power...

Aloha Radiant printer RJ45 to RJ11 adapter source/pinout

I don't have the stations in front of me but they should be standard radiant terminals, though the plug layout is a bit different than indicated in this set of manuals. The printer/cable guide indicates the setup I need is for the "Remote Printer / P15xx and P1220" type. The pinout diagram for...

Aloha Radiant printer RJ45 to RJ11 adapter source/pinout

I have been maintaining the Aloha POS systems for a restaurant. Recently one of the RJ45 to RJ11 adapters for one of their radiant printers has stopped functioning. I searched for some suppliers for the part, hoping to grab a replacement and a few extras but was surprised by the costs (quoted...
