I am struggling with exactly what permissions to use.
~ I can map the drive and folder, I can't copy anything to the usera folder.
~ I have created the path in AD \\server\user\%username% (usera)
~ Although we will map directly...
We are using Exchange Server 2010 and Outlook client 2010.
At the bottom of the email window is a window that displays users pictures.
How do we turn that off or hide it?
Sorry if I am posting tis in the wrong place, I am not sure if it is a server setting or a outlook client setting.
Thanks,
I am still not getting anywhere with this, I reset the switch again , here is the config.
I am trying to setup local authenication so you have to use a username/password to telnet or console to the switch.
I tried the above commands with no sucess. I tried some google-fu and still didnt find...
I reset the switch to factory defaults. Here is a copy of the current config. When I telnet to it, it prompts me for a username and password, but wont let me login with the usernames and passwords, I have defined.

Hello everyone.
I have a IBM v7000. It has one large 4T lun and our VM enviroment sees it as one datastore. I am trying to explain to the powers to be why that is a bad idea and that we should have several smaller datastores rather than one large data store. I think I know why, but I cant seem...
I recently starting using Solarwinds. SNMP is not setup on a lot of my Cisco gear and in the few places it is, it is not consistant. I was wondering if anyone has any exaples on SNMP configuration I could use as an example. This would be for 3560 and 2960 switches.
thanks,
I figured it out.
I didn't have sub0interfaces on my fastethernet port or my dot11radio0 interface for my vlans. Also the ports on the switchs were not trunk ports. Once I corrected, everything was ok.
thanks everyone.
Have a great weekend
I need to stop reading.
Thank you everyone that has been trudging through this with me and offering advice.
Here is the bigger issue.
~ I need to be able to connect to my WAPs on the managment network 10.1.15.xxx (vlan 100).
~ I need to run 2 wireless networks on the WAPs. Wireless Network 1...
Checking to make sure I am thinking correctly.
~ So the ip address for the BVI intface can be the ip address of my managment vlan (vlan150)?
~ The port config has to look like this for me to be able to connect ( telnet \ SSH) to the WAP.
interface FastEthernet0/1
switchport access vlan 150...
For this switch, I have WAP connected to each port. The WAPS have 15.xxx addresses assigned to their BVI interface. They are passing traffic and working ok. But they are not reachable on their 15.xxx address.
Is it has simple as adding the vlan allowed command for vlan150, to allow both vlans...
In one building I have 9 switches they are all 2960 or 3560 and they are all set to server or client. Will it cause a problem for my users , if I go through and convert them to transparent, thet are all on the smae VTP domain? I dont want to take down my network in the middle of the day, that...
Here is what I see for VTP
CORE <-> C2960(VTP Client) <-> C2960(VTP Server) <-> C3560(VTP Transparent) <-> AP
I am reading more about VTP right now, to make sure I have a good understanding.
Are you saying all switches, except the core (4506) should be VTP transparent?
here is the config from the AP
