catalyst 5000 switch
rollover cables dont work with the 5000. vipergg, I used that link already and made several attempts at the converter for the S3 board and nothing has worked. any other ideas please? -

got a 5000 series switch, when i attempt to console into it, the terminal emulator is blank, am using a straight through cable and the console default settings. any ideas why console doesn't work with this switch? Can cisco reset the engine board? Can anyone reset the engine board?
