Hi all,
We are attempting (don't ask why :) to redirect both name and number CLID from an originating caller outbound to a Sangoma unit to convert the PRI to SIP and send out to the PSTN.
The inbound InformationElement=Display in IP Office shows the inbound name CLID, when using DMS100 the...
@Westi really?? That seems so unlikely but I'll try moving one of the 9508s off that system and onto a different one and see if I can replicate the issue on a different switch. Thanks for your input!

Hi all,
I have a strange issue on IP Office 9.1.12 on a new install. DTMF tones working fine on inbound calls to system and outbound calls out of system. When any digital phone (Combo Card x 2, DS8x 1, DS16 Module) across ANY of the digital set modules tries to call internally to check their...
Further to this, I discovered our issue this evening is a dead STUN server. I don't like to use the NONE topology in the SIP line as it tends to kill calls after 15 minutes as previously mentioned. All our SIP implementations have been via LAN1/LAN2 topology with port forwarding for RTP and SIP...
Hi all !
Having some weird issues with SIP lately and am wondering if anyone can shed any light.
Typically when we configure SIP we tell the IP Office to use LAN2 (or LAN1) under the Network Topology drop down in the SIP line. I realize this utilizes the specified LAN interface and also uses...
Thanks Intigrant but I am a bit confused by your response - are you suggesting I build the queue within VM pro instead of utilzing the Group?
Thanks!

UPDATE: The issue is resolved if I uncheck the "Synchronize Calls" Option, unfortunately I believe we will in fact need these Announcements to be synced as the customer has only 8 VM PRO channels and their call volume during their fund raiser will be greater than the 8 channels in use. Any tips...
Hi all,
IP Office 9.1.6, using VM PRO
System has been up for almost a year using SIP trunking exclusively without fail. As part of a fundraising drive I have now programmed a Sequential call group that works fine when dialed internally. Calls go through the call queue process, rings to...
Hi guys,
On 9.1.6.
We are not using LDAP or anything fancy here at all. There is nothing in the Directory, or in any personal directory. Occurring on all stations. Nice to know i'm not crazy haha. I feel like this is a SIP related issue, as the outbound call shows fine on the 2 analog...
Hi all,
Strange issue. Have been using SIP trunking for awhile on IP Office without issue. On the newest system we have installed when an outbound call is placed, the display on the screen of the 9508 set shows "Anonymous" instead of the number that is being dialed. Just to clarify, this is...
Hi all,
Looking for some information regarding toll fraud via Norstar Flash. I saw a previous post about this but it didn't have enough info. I have a lot of experience with Norstar. Essentially the customers lines were call forwarded via *72 and the carrier is insistent that the hack has...
Hi all,
I am looking for SIP Trunking on IP Office consulting in Toronto area. Via phone/remote or in person. Please let me know if interested or have recommendations.

Haha thanks Kyle555.
These is a cloud based SIP proxy that the IP Office connects to. No SBC on site. This is a simple IP Office to SIP proxy in the cloud.
Hi all,
I have an IP Office 9.1.6 running SIP trunking from 2 completely different SIP providers. SIP seems to run fine for several hours, and then no inbound or outbound calls will pass through. Registration to SIP servers is lost. When I check Monitor I can still see the IP Office sending...
Hi all,
I'm a Interconnect with many years experience working Norstar and other systems and what I am being told by a line provider is not adding up.
I have a customer with an 8x24 and Flash 2 voicemail. 5 VM boxes on the system, included SM and GD, 2 info mailboxes and 1 subscriber.
No...
Confirmed to be a disconnect clear issue. Watching the monitor I called in and hung up before I got to the voicemail beep. Call stays connected for 10 or 15 seconds before it drops, hence the dead air voicemails.
Thanks for the reply Snowman. I guess they could be hangups and they get a dead air message due to the disconnect supervision on the lines. I will test further.
Thanks,
C5J
Hi all!
We have a new IP Office install running 9.1.4 Essential Edition with Embedded voicemail. The majority of the 50 sets on the system are repurposed Nortel t7316e sets. We are having an intermittent issue with voicemails being left that are just dead air. This seems to be happening on...
