I know for a fact that I didn't use the programmator program until this year. When I programmed it first I used the ppd1232. That was the only programming software our company had at that time. I even remember when in went to school they told us we could program all three models 1232,816 and 308.

I am wondering how I was able to program it the first time. I havent ever used the DOS based program before. Is it very difficult to use and is it available.

So the PPD 1232 is not a windows based program. When I installed the program on my computer I was at panasonic in chicago and they said that the software was good for td1232, td816 and td308.

When I installed the system originally I programmed it with the PPD1232. This was around 2006 sometime.

The software is a Windows based software not Dos based. I ended up using the programmator software and it worked great. I am guessing a it was an issue with the version of ppd 1232 software.

I'm not sure what version this is but I think it was the one I loaded on my computer at the Panasonic school. How could I check compatibility and or get a version that will work.

There was one other test I performed that worked. I used hyper terminal and was receiving data from the phone system. it appeared that it was sending me a call log. I have read other places that if hyper terminal worked then the hardware is good.

I have a KX-td1232 with a KX-tvs100. I have the system set to intercept calls after 6 rings and send them to the automated attendant. I was wondering what is the most convenient way to have operator send calls to a specific voice-mail. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the info. The problem was on my end. I didn't have the communication parameters in hyper-terminal set correctly.
