When you add parameters to the record selected formula, crystal reports might be confused , because there are 2 different connections. Try to add the 2 new tables to a subreport instead to the main report .

mbrayc , it is really hard to give you an advice without knowing what is going on.
If you go to "Uninstall program" dialog can you see:
SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework4(32-bit)
or
SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework4(64-bit)
The query is used in place where one value is expected. The problem is not in the query syntax but in the returned data. Try to use distinct if it still returns the same error modify the where clause to return just one record:
SELECT DISTINCT "LotNumberTransactions"."abtlotnumberid"
