    reset Extreme X450a-48t to factory defaults

    A switch boots in three steps. The first – BootStrap, second – BootRom, third – XOS. You are at BootStrap. You have to input command “boot” and immediately press spacebar. So you will come into BootRom. There you can reset config with lost password. Kind regards, Hh

    problem in set up Summit X650 24 port

    Hi eli, Qlogic 2562 is Fibre Channel adapter for a storage network. It can connect servers, storages and special Fibre Channel switches. You connect Fibre Channel ports on server/storage and Ethernet ports on X650. It will not work. You have to use a Fibre Channel switch. Kind regards, Hh
